Step-by-step guide
When creating a new Chart, you must first select the Chart Type you want to create.
- Select the data type for the chart, and Veloxity automatically populates chart types that will work with the data type.
- Select the chart type that best fits your data.

Name | Description |
---|---|
Bar Chart | A chart or graph that presents categorical data with rectangular bars with heights or lengths proportional to the values they represent. |
Line Chart | (Also called line plot or line graph.) Displays information as a series of data points called “markers” connected by straight line segments. |
Funnel Chart | Show how something moves through different stages in a process (tracking sales conversions in a pipeline). |
Gantt Chart | A bar chart that illustrates a project schedule; shows the dependency relationships between different activities and current schedule status. |
Gauge Chart | (Also called Dial charts or Speedometer charts.) Use needles to show information as a reading on a dial. The value for each needle is read against the colored data range or chart axis. |
Metric Chart | Displays numerical value. |
Pie Chart | Understand the parts of a whole. |
Radar Chart | Displays multivariate data in the form of a two-dimensional chart of three or more quantifiable variables represented on axes starting from the same point. |
XY Chart | (Also called a scatter plot or scatter chart.) Uses Cartesian coordinates to display values for typically two variables for a set of data. |
