What is CRM Setup?
CRM Setup is the hub of CRM specific customizations.
CRM Setup is a powerful interface allowing users to customize company information and automate Veloxity CRM's standard sales processes such as Lead Assignment, Sales Division Management, and Forecasting.
How can I use CRM Setup?
CRM Setup allows you to customize routine processes to match your workflow. In addition, you can create rules to automate these processes.
Automating repeated tasks can allow sales teams to focus more time on performance and less time on routine administrative tasks.
Where can I find CRM Setup?
CRM Setup is found in App Setup.
From the Main Menu, click My Profile > App Setup > CRM Setup

How can I use CRM Setup?
CRM Setup contains the following tools:
Calendar Import configures your Veloxity CRM system to read activities from a user's Google calendar.
Veloxity uses Calendar Import to populate the integrated calendar and to create activity records based on imported Google calendar events.
Trial Data is built-in sample data populating the trial version of Veloxity CRM.
By having usable data preloaded in the system, Trial Data enables you to immediately begin testing your new system in the trial environment.
Use Clean Up Trial Data when you are ready to remove all the trial data, along with records linked to the trial data, from your system.
Set up the general information about your company in Company Details.
Use Company Details to setup and update the following information:
Data Import allows you to bulk import Account and Contact data into the Veloxity CRM system.
To integrate email with Veloxity CRM, you can choose to sync your email with Gmail or connect to your company's email server.
Email Reader enables your Veloxity CRM system to read emails from a user's inbox.
Veloxity uses Email Reader to populate Veloxity Inbox and to create activity records based on emails received from current Contacts in your Veloxity CRM system.
Email Templates are emails designed to be quickly sent to recipients without the need to craft individual email responses.
Use Email Templates to quickly and efficiently customize, create, and answer email.
Forecasting is the process of estimating future sales. Sales Forecasts display your estimated sales income for a given time period based upon the Opportunity Stage, Sales Stage Probability, and the Opportunity Close Date.
Forecasting Configurations enables you to set up the following:
|Use CRM Data Import to quickly import your existing data to Veloxity.
Lead Assignment Rules are used to automate your organization's lead assignment process for new lead records.
When a new lead record is created in the system, Lead Assignment Rules automatically assign the new lead record to specific users or sales divisions based on the rules you've created in the system.
|Integrate Veloxity's Lead Capture Form into your website to collect information on potential leads and capitalize on your web traffic.
Lead Stages guide the Lead qualification process for users whose job it is to determine whether a Lead should be converted into an Opportunity.
Lead Stage setup consists of specifying stage names and optional TODOs.
Setting Up Lead Stages allows you to optimize your organization's Lead Management process:
List Manager allows you to create, edit, and remove pick lists and their values. Once created, lists can then be associated with pick list and selection list fields.
|News Feed allows you to create or modify News Feed Sources and their display options.
Opportunity Assignment Rules are used to automate your organization's opportunity assignment process for new opportunity records.
When a new opportunity record is created in the system, Opportunity Assignment Rules automatically assign the new record to specific users or sales divisions based on the rules you've created in the system.
Owner Assignment Rules are used to automate your organization's owner assignment process for new data records.
When a new record is created in the system, Owner Assignment Rules automatically assign the new record to an owner based on the rules you've created in the system.
Sales Stages represent your sales pipeline. Sales Stages are the steps within the sales cycle that represent the activities needed to move a prospect from the initial contact to buying your product or service.
Sales Stages Setup consists of the following three steps:
User/Group Role Definitions enable the secure sharing of data in Veloxity CRM.
These roles determine what information a user can view, and what actions the user can perform with the information.
Web Conferencing is an online service enabling you to hold live meetings, conferences, presentations, and training using the internet.
You can connect to the conference either by telephone or using your computer's speakers and microphone through a VoIP connection.
Web Conferencing Setup enables you to set up your Web Conferencing service with Veloxity CRM.
Veloxity offers a RESTful Web Service API to provide you with a way to develop integrations between your existing systems and Veloxity CRM.
The endpoints exposed through the API provide the capability to create, modify, and retrieve your data from Veloxity CRM.
To access the web service endpoints, you must generate an API Key.
