What is Home Page Layout Manager?

Home Page Layout Manager allows you to create a new layout, manage layouts, and/or assign different Home Page Layouts to different user groups.

How can I use Home Page Layout Manager?

Where can I find Home Page Layout Manager?

Home Page Layout Manager is located in Veloxity App Setup.

From the Main Menu, click My Profile > App Setup > Home Page Layout Manager

How can I use Home Page Layout Manager?

How can I create a New Home Page Layout?

1. Click Create New Layout.
2. Edit the Layout Name and Description.

3. Drag and drop components to add to Layout Preview.

4. Drag and drop to arrange components on the Layout Preview.

5. Click Save.

How can I assign a Home Page Layout to a specific User Group?

1. Click Assign Layout to assign Home Page Layouts to specific user groups configured in the system.
2. Click row number to select Layout to Assign.
3. Click inside box to select Assigned Group.
4. Click Save & Close.

How can I manage my Home Page Layouts?

Click Manage Layouts to view a list of your current home page layouts.

From here, you can choose from the following tools:

1. Edit: Allows you to edit selected layout.
2. Make Default: Makes the selected layout the default layout. 
3. Duplicate: Duplicates the selected layout. 
4. Delete: Allows you to delete the layout.
5. Layout ID: An internal layout name and not displayed to the user. This can be the same as the Display Name.
6. Display Name: Edit the layout name displayed to the user. This can be the same as the Layout ID.
7. Description: Edit a description of the layout to orient administrators to the best use of the layout. 
8. Is Default: Check the box if the selected layout is the default layout.
9. Assigned Groups: Lists the groups to which the selected layout is assigned.
