User Manager enables you to Add, Delete, and Edit user information.
How can I use User Manager?
The following tools for managing individual users are located in User Manager:
Quickly add new users to your system.
Manage all aspects of user accounts.
Assign individual users to User Groups.
View a current list of all the users in your Veloxity CRM system.
Where can I find User Manager?
User Manager is located in Veloxity App Setup.
On the Main Menu, click My Profile > App Setup > User Manager

How can I use User Manager?
How can I Invite Users to the system?
Quickly add new users to your system by clicking Invite Users.
- Enter email addresses of Users you want to invite.
- Click OK.
- The system emails new users inviting them to setup their new Veloxity CRM account.
How can I Add Users to Groups?
Add users to Groups by selecting the appropriate Groups from the pick list.
- Users may belong to one or more Groups.
- Each Group can be configured to best support the needs and purpose of the group.
- As you add each user, assign them to specific Groups.
Tip: Before you can add users to Groups, you must first set up Groups in Group Manager.
How is security managed?
An important element of assigning users to groups is understanding System-Level Privileges and Data Access Rights in Veloxity.
System-Level Privileges and Data Access rights are configured at the Group level:
Does the user have access to all data records with all privileges (Create, Read, Write, Delete, Relate)?
What administrative features and functions can the user access?
The user has the privileges of the groups in which the individual is a member.
How can I Copy a User?
Copy User provides a guide to lead you through the creation of a new user based on a user you've selected.
- Click the row number of the User you want to copy.
- Click Copy User.
- Click Save.
Keep the following in mind when Adding a New User:
The password must be at least eight characters long and contain at least one number and one alphabetic letter.
If a user fails to provide the correct login information after a configurable number of attempts, their account will be Locked. An administrative user will need to unlock the user’s account through this feature.
If a user is designated as an API user, they cannot log into the Veloxity interface but can access Veloxity data through the the API.
What is an API User?
Application Program Interface (API) User. An API is a software-to-software interface, not a user interface. With APIs, applications talk to each other without any user knowledge or intervention.
How can I Delete Users from the system?
Select the row numbers corresponding to the users you wish to delete.
Click Delete Users.
Users are removed from Veloxity CRM.
How can I Edit Users' Information?
Edit Veloxity CRM user data.
Click Edit on the user data you wish to edit.
User Editor opens.
Edit user information.
Click Save.
How can I Lock Users from system access?
Lock Users to lock system access for specific users.
- Locate the Users you wish to Lock.
- On the corresponding row, click inside the box marked Locked.
- Click Save.
Tip: User Accounts are automatically locked after a configurable number of failed password attempts. Unlock accounts by clicking inside the box marked Locked.
