What is List Manager?
Definition
List Manager allows you to create, edit, and remove pick lists and their values.
- A pick list is a controlled vocabulary list from which the user can make a selection. The list values, the terms available for selection, are predefined. This means users must only select options from the pick list. Users cannot create their own terms (values).
- Pick lists can increase data accuracy and improve data analysis as users must consistently enter the same terms for their data.
How can I use List Manager?
- List Manager allows you to define and configure pick lists.
- List Manager provides the tools to add, delete, and / or copy pick lists.
- Edit list names, list descriptions, and/or individual values using List Manager.
Where can I find List Manager?
List Manager is located in CRM Setup.
From the Main Menu, select My Profile > App Setup > CRM Setup > List Manager

How can I use List Manager?
What Pick Lists currently exist in my Veloxity CRM system?
- View current configured Pick Lists in the Defined Pick List column.
- Click on a Pick List ID to view the Pick List Values.
How can I Add a New Pick List?
- Click Add List.
- Enter Pick List ID.
- Enter Pick List Description.
- Enter Pick List Values.
- Click Save.
How can I Delete a Pick List?
- Click the Pick List ID you want to Delete.
- Click Delete List.
- Click Save.
How can I Edit a Pick List?
- Click the Pick List ID you want to Edit.
- The Pick List Values show to the right of the List.
- Edit the Pick List ID, Description, and Values directly.
- Click Save.
What do Pick Lists look like from a user perspective?
The following example uses the Account Industries Pick List configured in List Manager. The user selects the Pick List value that best defines the industry of this particular account.
