How can I setup Lead Stages?
Tip: When creating a Lead Management Process, consider the following best practice tips:
- Consistent Process: Sales reps must enter and update information accurately and consistently for the data in your CRM to be accurate.
- Limited Lead Stage Values: Sales reps need to select the best value to describe the Lead process consistently. Too many values make this difficult. Think bigger picture rather than granular when creating Lead Stage values.
- Clear Lead Stage Values: Lead Stage values should not be ambiguous or up to the sales rep's interpretation. The value should represent a clearly defined state in your sales process that cannot be undone.
Setting up Lead Stages creates a clear and consistent Lead Management process.
