What is App Setup?
Definition
App Setup is the configuration area for the Veloxity platform. Here, you can access the tools needed to customize the Veloxity platform to meet your specific business needs.
How can I use App Setup?
- App Setup enables you to design the look and feel of Veloxity using Theme Manager and Home Page Layout Manager.
- You can add Users and configure User Groups along with data and system access privileges using User Manager and Group Manager.
- Design Toolbars, Data Fields, Attributes, Predefined Searches and Charts within App Setup.
Where can I find App Setup?
You need administrative privileges to access App Setup.
From the Main Menu, click My Profile > App Setup

CRM Setup |
CRM Setup is the hub of CRM specific customizations. CRM Setup is a powerful interface allowing users to customize company information and automate Veloxity CRM's standard sales processes such as Lead Assignment, Sales Division Management, and Forecasting. |
User Manager |
User Manager enables you to add new users to your organization's Veloxity CRM system. Add, Delete, and Edit User information with User Manager. |
Group Manager |
Group Manager enables you to customize User Groups in Veloxity CRM. User Groups are also called Roles. Use Group Manager to define the Data and System-level Access Control Privileges used by different roles in your organization. For example, the System Administrator will usually play a different role and need different access privileges than the Sales Rep. Secure your data access by configuring both Data and System-level Privileges for User Groups. |
Session Manager |
Session Manager allows you to manage current active sessions of Veloxity CRM. See who is currently active on Veloxity CRM. Both API and non-API users are shown in Session Manager. Selecting an active session and clicking Delete Session will forcibly log that user out of Veloxity CRM. This can be useful when users are not available to log themselves out of the system. |
Toolbar Designer |
Toolbar Designer allows you to customize the toolbars in Veloxity CRM. Toolbars are configured at the Group level.

Theme Manager |
Make Veloxity CRM your own. Everything from the background color to the text color is fully customizable. Theme Manager allows you to customize the app without needing to write code. All of the settings allow for click-and-select functionality. Theme Manager allows you to change the look and feel of Veloxity by changing multiple aspects of the user interface including the color scheme and other graphical appearance details. |
Home Page Layout Manager |
Home Page Layout Manager allows you to create a new layout, manage layouts, and/or assign different Home Page Layouts to different user groups. |
Data Designer |
Data Designer allows detailed customization of the data types and data fields in Veloxity CRM. Configure the Veloxity CRM system to match your business process. Useful data is the cornerstone of CRM. In Veloxity CRM, data inputs feed machine learning, charts, and statistics to make your job easier and more informed. The design, management, and analysis of your data are keys to the accuracy of this process.
