What is Email Reader?
Email Reader configures the Veloxity system to import email from a user's Gmail account.
Veloxity uses Email Reader to populate Inbox and to create activity records based on email received from current Contacts in your Veloxity CRM system.
Where can I find Email Reader?
Email Reader is located in CRM Setup.
From the Home Page, click My Profile > App Setup > CRM Setup > Email Reader Configurations

How can I use Email Reader?
Setting up Email Reader is a two-part process.
1. First, enter the following information to configure the Email Reader system settings:
Initial Email Import Interval in Days. How many days, prior to the initial email sync, will the email reader attempt to read emails? Select a number of days that enables capturing emails sent prior to the Email Reader feature being enabled. Email Reader defaults to 14 days. Note: Veloxity Inbox enables Users to "Refresh Inbox including History" to capture email from contacts that were added after the initial sync was performed.
Number of Minutes after user logs in before the first email import. The number of minutes after a user logs into the system before the email reader will first read from the user's inbox. Email Reader defaults to 0 minutes.
Number of Minutes between Email Imports. The number of minutes the email reader will wait between attempts to read from the user's inbox. Email Reader defaults to 30 minutes.
2. Second, each user must authorize Veloxity to access their Gmail account.
Users authorize Veloxity to access their Gmail account by navigating to the Main Menu and clicking My Profile > Profile Settings > Configure Email and Calendar
