The Business Transaction Type you select is used to optimize data records in the system.
When you select B2B as your business type in Veloxity CRM, your data type selections will be optimized for B2B.
- Accounts Records are created. Accounts play an important role in B2B transactions. Accounts represent the businesses that purchase your products/services.
- Contacts Records are created. Contacts are generally individuals who work for the Accounts.
- When you convert a Lead to an Opportunity, an Account, Contact, and Opportunity Record are created.
- Accounts, Contacts, and Opportunities are linked together throughout the sales process.
When you select B2C as your business type in Veloxity CRM, your data type selections will be optimized for B2C.
- Account Records are not automatically created.
- Contact Records are created. Contacts play an important role in B2C transactions. Contacts represent the consumers that purchase your products/services.
- When you convert a Lead to an Opportunity, a Contact and Opportunity Record are created.
- Contacts and Opportunities are linked together throughout the sales process.
When you select both B2B and B2C as your business type in Veloxity CRM you will be given the option of which transaction type you are using when you enter a new Opportunity Record.
- When a new Opportunity Record is created in the system, you can select whether or not you want to link an Account Record.
