What are Charts in Data Designer?
Definition
Use Charts to create system-wide charts that can be accessed by User Groups in your Veloxity system.
How can I use Charts in Data Designer?
Create important system charts so your users can visualize and analyze data quickly.
System Charts are always accessible. Users don't have to create these charts themselves.
Users select these Charts from a list of choices.
Tip: Creating System Charts helps to focus users on particular data sets.
Where can I find Charts in Data Designer?
System Chart configuration is located in Veloxity App Setup.
From the Main Menu, click My Profile > App Setup > Data Designer > Charts

How can I use Charts in Data Designer?
There are two ways to create System Charts in Data Designer:
The first is to Configure Charts using the Charts feature on the Data Designer tool:.
- Select a Chart Type. See How can I select a chart type? for more information.
- Define Chart Series. See How can I define a chart series? for more information.
- Click Save.

The second method of creating a System Chart is via Data Designer Layouts.
- Click Layouts.
- Select Data Type.
- Drag New Chart into Layout.
- Click Create New Chart.
- Configure New Chart.
- Select a Chart Type. See How can I select a chart type? for more information.
- Define Chart Series. See How can I define a chart series? for more information.
- Click. Save
The chart you created in Layouts will be available to select in System Charts.
