What are Predefined Searches in Data Designer?
Data Designer enables the creation of Predefined Searches.
Predefined Searches are searches that do not need to be configured by the end user.
Predefined Searches are set up by an administrator in Data Designer and are ready to use by selected user groups.
How can I use Predefined Searches in Data Designer?
Predefine important searches. Predefined Searches are always accessible. Users don't have to create these searches themselves. Users select Predefined Searches from a list of choices. This helps focus users on particular data sets.
Where can I find Predefined Searches in Data Designer?
Predefined Searches are located in Veloxity App Setup.
From the Main Menu, click My Profile > App Setup > Data Designer > Predefined Searches

How can I use Predesigned Searches in Data Designer?
Use Predesigned Searches to create searches for user groups.
There are two ways to create Predefined Searches in Data Designer:
The first is to Configure Searches using the Preconfigure Searches component on the Data Designer tool:

- Click Save.

The second method of creating Predefined Searches is through Data Designer Layouts:

When you create a new search on Layouts, the search will automatically be saved in Predefined Searches.
- Click Layouts.
- Select Data Type.
- Drag New Search into Layout.
- Click Create New Search.
- Configure New Search. See How can I define the search term? for more information.
- Click. Save
The search you created in Layouts will be available to select in Predefined Charts.
